I haven’t been to work in many moons. Like most people under the current circumstances, I was furloughed around mid-March. It’s been a strange time, and I find myself almost missing my job. That is until I hear a rip-roaring song like Daily Jobs by Bee Bee Sea and remember the countless times a customer has been rude to me, and then I construct a lifesize model of my boss and scream and hit it until I pass out. Okay, that bit wasn’t true, my manager is really nice, but good music can inspire you to do anything.
Daily Jobs is a fantastic and expertly constructed punk track. It’s dynamic from the moment it begins, switching tempos with ease and playing with your emotions like no one’s business. The song speaks of living a life split between working in a factory by day and playing live music at night. This is a hugely relatable concept. It’s a privilege to do what you love for a living, and that’s why we’re driven to strive for success in these areas.
Daily Jobs is a brilliant tune that will have you dancing up and down your room like a rabbit in mating season. Check it out; you won’t regret it!
