We have two juicy premieres for you today on Independent Music News. The first is a new-wave, alternative pop song by Belles called Pass It On. You can listen to it here. The second feature, and the one you’re currently perusing, is about the alternative rock masterpiece entitled Through The Night by The Losing Touch, and we’re positive you’ll embrace it into your life.
Based in Barnsley, The Losing Touch have been around since early 2019, and what a year it was for the six-piece band. From releasing their debut EP, Midnight Again, and being compared to Elbow and Arcade Fire to touring the UK and gaining a devoted fanbase, we’ve been highly impressed with their growth. It doesn’t seem like they’ll be slowing down in 2020 either.
Their first release of the year, Through The Night is a euphoric and intense listen. The imposing vocals of James Gilroy, the dynamic guitarmanship of Nevyn Stevenson and the other vital elements of the song combine to make an emotional and heartfelt piece. One that’ll swallow you up, make you question your life choices, and finally reinvigorate you towards the end of the record. Ultimately, it will leave you feeling fully refreshed and ready to take on the world. Maybe you’ll open a bakery. I’ll have three moggy cakes, please. Cheers!
All in all, Through The Night is a thought-provoking and powerful song you need to add to your music playlist. Feeling down? Play Through The Night. Your boyfriend or girlfriend broke up with you? Play Through The Night. Your local supermarket didn’t have any toilet roll left? Play Through The Night. Just play Through The Night in any problematic situation. It’ll improve your mental health and wellbeing.
