Harry Miller’s new single, Back In Time, is a beautiful acoustic song which combines bright, uplifting guitar and twinkly percussion with gentle, melodic vocals. The Liverpool-based artist sings and plays from the heart, drawing upon personal experience: “I was stuck in the past wishing things to be how they were, until my family and friends helped me realise that I shouldn’t stand still in the present, I should be looking ahead”.
Back In Time is an eloquent demonstration of Harry’s talent for lyricism and musical composition. If that wasn’t enough, he also shines in the vocal department. There’s a lovely northern authenticity to his voice that will leave even the most stone-hearted among us swooning and weak at the knees. With tender harmonies and a sentimental electric guitar solo, this track is fully loaded with warmth and fuzziness, aimed to hit you right in the feels.
During these trying coronavirus times, we could all do with a just reminder to keep moving forward. With every passing day, we take one step closer to better times, but for now, I urge you to listen to this song and keep smiling. Back In Time will be available to stream on all major platforms from tomorrow.
