Premiere: BOPS – Sleeplessness

Every now and then you hear a track that shakes you up a bit. You know what I mean. You’ve been sailing along, idly enjoying various wild and wonderful songs, when a tune messes with the foundations of what you’ve become accustomed to. And quite frankly, you love it. So without further ado, let me introduce you to Sleeplessness by BOPS.

It’s a song that changes pace often, in both tone and tempo. Much like the title, it is a restless tune that makes you want to dance and contemplate what the hell is going on in this messed up world. Hugely dynamic and a thrill ride from start to finish, BOPS have found their own unique musical groove between the waking world and dreamland.

I really enjoyed Sleeplessness and was happy to learn that it’s just a taste of what’s to come, as the band have a double A-side coming out this Friday. If they keep putting out music like this, they’re sure to make huge waves. Also, did I mention that the video is excellent? In short, this is visual and audio perfection wrapped up for you in a neat little package.
