Are you a fan of fuzzy dream songs? Do you like post-punk, shoegaze, and psychedelia? Then you’re going to love our latest premiere. I can only describe it as a cacophony of musical madness, so strap yourself in and get ready to hear Seaglass by Bleached Heat.
Seaglass is a mysterious EP. It produces sounds that are hard to pin down and takes you on a sonic journey that will leave you wanting more. Each song has its own unique identity, and yet there’s a certain solidity to it as musical themes reappear throughout the experience like old friends. They look a little different, but their soul hasn’t changed.
The Bradford-based artist, real name Stephen E. Love, has produced a remarkable piece of work here, pushing the boundaries of bedroom pop beyond its four walls. Not only is it full of fantastically catchy melodies and lovely ethereal vocals, but the whole thing is for a good cause, as all the money raised from the EP will go to the Black Lives Matter UK fund.
As the final moments of Does It Rain ring out, you’re left feeling like you’ve been on holiday to a different world, where music refuses to be pinned down. So what are you waiting for? Check it out.
