Guess who’s back with another compilation album? Independent Music News is, and it’s an important one. Entitled It’s A Wonderful Life, we’ve created this comp to highlight mental health awareness and the musical talent of Sparklehorse frontman Mark Linkous, who tragically committed suicide on the 6th March 2010, just over ten years ago.

The album features Cheerbleederz, Cat Ryan, Tenci, Club Beirut, In Earnest, Lake Notion, The Losing Touch, Tom John Hall, Sonny Elliot, Asthmatic Harp, Greg Poole, Nicky Smith, The Roseline, Seagoth, Sheerbuzz, Ghostar, Waltz Away, The John Andrews Band, Paperfriend, Juliet Garrett, Isabelle Tarran, Taya Minchington, My Everest, and Gudjohr.

All the money raised will go to Mind; a charity that offers information and advice to people with mental health problems and lobbies government and local authorities on their behalf. It also works to raise public awareness and understanding of issues relating to mental health.
