I’m not too fond of gardening but love dogs, so the band name Plants And Animals automatically makes me feel very conflicted. I pace, angrily swear at the cactus, then pet my Bichon Frise’s head lovingly. It’s a bloody good job that the band are such phenomenal talents or I’d constantly dip between anger and elation listening to their stuff.
Their frontman, Warren Spicer, sat down with Rebecca Aston and talked about a tonne of stuff. This included chatting about the single Sacrifice, why the dynamic of the group is key to their success and longevity, their upcoming album The Jungle, and the mental obstacles they have had to overcome during the lockdown, with them usually thriving on live performances.
Give it a listen below. You won’t regret it!
