It’s interview time here at Independent Music News towers! That’s right; we own a building. Well, we’re squatting in it. The caretaker has called the police on many occasions. Anyway, our very own Stephen Billington sat down with Trevor Villagrana, the vocalist and guitarist of a cracking act called Young, Planetary. They cover a lot of ground; including an in-depth look into their newest single, Dig. Trevor talked about how the song represents Young, Planetary perfectly as a band, as well as what makes him proud of listening back to his music catalogue so far.
But wait, there’s more coming your way like a second pudding. I’ll have some extra chocolate ice cream with sprinkles, please. Sorry, I’m a bit hungry. Trevor also delved into his musical beginnings, how connection is key to his writing style and motivation, and talked about Young, Planetary’s new EP, coming out July 1st, called Locations I Can’t Place. All that and much more! This whole interview sounds like too much of a treat. Listen to it below. Enjoy!
