Hello there! I hope you’re well. Usually, I’d say some dumb jokes to fill the word count and ultimately come across as a desperate fool who doesn’t have many friends, but with the current state of affairs, it doesn’t feel completely natural to do so. Instead, I’ll be totally straightforward; we have another interview for you! It’s with Juliet Garrett; an amazingly talented singer-songwriter with makes feel-good music. I say this at the start, but I’ll reiterate it here. At the time, the George Floyd tragedy had not yet happened, and the resulting protests and riots had not materialised. It’s insane to think how much has changed in two weeks, with the primary source of our conversation revolving around lockdown and Juliet’s feelings on writing and performing.
We also chatted about her relationship with her family, how that inspired her to explore songwriting, the IMN lockdown festival, as well as talking about her newest single, Carry On. It all got a bit philosophical at the end too, making my interview sound far more intelligent as a result. Cheers, Juliet! It’s an entertaining and happy audio piece, and I really hope you enjoy it. Thanks!
