Behind The Song: Divebar Youth – Carbon Dioxide

Posted byIndependent Music NewsApril 9, 2020FeaturesDivebar Youth, Vinnie Barbaro

Divebar Youth is the brainchild of Vinnie Barbaro, a singer-songwriter based in Adelaide, Australia. We recently discovered his tunes while scrolling through Spotify and they became an instant hit in the Independent Music News office. So much so, when either Houses or Obsess comes on, everyone jumps on their desks and sings along. It’s a joy to behold.

Divebar Youth’s latest single, Carbon Dioxide, is his most harrowing to date.

As Barbaro mentioned, the song is much heavier than his previous work. A rock ‘n’ roll vide is present throughout which compliments the main theme of Carbon Dioxide; to promote the preservation of nature. From politicians to everyday folk, it is a vital piece of music that requires the attention of all, and you can hear it by clicking the play button below. We highly recommend you share it with your close ones too.

Did you enjoy it? We knew you would. Check out the music video for Carbon Dioxide too.
